Marketing Your Home

Marketing your property correctly can make a difference in thousands of dollars to your bottom line. At Russell Jones, we are your partners in making your property stand out and be noticed!

We take a custom approach to each property we sell, but when interviewing real estate companies to list your home, here are the main categories you should discuss.

Professional Photography

Above all other approaches, outstanding photography is the most effective way to interest buyers in a home. Before putting a home on the market, we hire a professional photographer to showcase all the best features of your home, both inside and out.

Print Marketing

Hand-in-hand with outstanding photographs is attractive print marketing. Buyers want to have something to take home with them. We create house flyers, special feature cards that highlight your home’s best features, a home book with plenty of information about your home and your area, and “just listed” cards and letters that alert the local neighbors that your home is on the market.

Online Marketing

Almost all buyers look online before ever calling a real estate agent. We make sure your property is visible on all the major search sites including Zillow, Redfin, REALTOR.com, and, most importantly, the MLS, which is the primary site real estate agents use.

Social Media

You never know where the buyer for your property may come from. That’s why we also harness the power of social media to get the word out!

Staging

Whenever possible, we recommend using a professional stager to bring in select furniture and decorations that will highlight the best features of your home in a way that fire the imaginations of potential buyers. Although location is fairly black and white, the other three variables are not. It takes a human expert to review and evaluate how these factors affect market value.

Open Houses

It isn’t unusual for a maybe buyer to turn into a ready buyer just from visiting an open house. When we hold a home open, we pull out all the stops, invite the neighbors, and put it out online. When potential buyers come in, our goal is to wow them with all the great information we have put together about your home and the neighborhood so they are excited and confident about moving forward.
