Volunteer Park Conservatory

The Volunteer Park Conservatory also remains closed until further notice.

Wading Pool

Good news for kids: the Parks Department is expected to open the wading pool for summer fun on June 26.

Water Tower

One of Seattle’s iconic structures, the Water Tower remains closed. At this time, the Parks Department has no updates for when the Water Tower will be reopened. Read more about the Volunteer Park Water Tower and Observatory.

Asian Art Museum

The Asian Art Museum is partially open. Hours are 10 to 5 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with limited admission.

Tennis Courts

The tennis courts at Volunteer Park are open. Make reservations here.

Amphitheater

Despite the COVID closures, the Amphitheater replacement project continues to move forward. Under planning since 2018, the Amphitheater replacement project will create a new Amphitheater. The structure will be accessible and provide shade for performers. At this point, the crew has completed the demolition and removal work. The project is accepting donations, and you can get your name on a bench for a gift of $100 or more.
