The Clearview neighborhood is in unincorporated Snohomish County. One special attraction of the Clearview neighborhood is its rural and suburban mix. It is nestled among Bothell and Mill Creek to the south and west and the city of Snohomish to the northeast. Each of these small towns has a unique history and commercial areas worth exploring.
Bothell was founded in 1909 and has a darling downtown area. Mill Creek is more recent. It is a planned community. Originally without a downtown core, Mill Creek got a central focus when Mill Creek Town Center was opened in 2004. Snohomish is a small town with a population around 10,000 people. It incorporated in 1890 when it was the county seat of Snohomish County.
One particularly notable feature of Clearview is Willis D Tucker Park. Willis Tucker Community Park is 84 forested acres filled with lots of natural beauty and great things to do. Among the features are:
The park is named for Willis Tucker, long-time editor of the Western Sun and the first Snohomish County Executive.
Near to the Clearview neighborhood is Lord Hill Regional Park, a mammoth wilderness area more than 1,400-acres in size. Lord Hill Park is located between Clearview and the city of Snohomish. It has an incredible trail system to explore—six miles of carefully planned trails. Some are multi-use, some are for hiking only, and others are for biking or horses. Aim for Devil’s Butte Lookout to view the mountains or just wander down the path and see where your feet take you!
Clearview is a great neighborhood to live and has lots of natural beauty and areas to explore.
